BURN RIVER JUMP 2010

24-26 February marked the fourth edition of the Burn River Jump, the only European 5 star TTR event of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard tour.

Organised by Burton Snowboards at the Swatch Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno Italy, this unique showdown puts 10 finalists of the 5Star Slopestyle Contest against 8 invited riders of international acclaim.

The innovative course, created by DOORS Snowpark Structures, included an epic Jump gap over the Spoel river and a specially designed Burn jib arena.

The three day event culminated in a spectacular night show finale that kicked off at sunset. American Yale Cousino took out first place. His winning run featured a backside 1260 on the 19-meter straight jump and a cab 540 on the 12-meter Spoel River gap.

After three days of competition the final standing was:

• 1. Cousino Yale - USA
• 2. Braaten Gjermund - NOR
• 3. McMorris Mark - CAN
• 4. Willet Eric - USA
