The European snow season may soon be over, but we had one last crack at some amazing tricks and snaps for the Burn Snowpark Rally final in Leogang Austria, which included the public bagjump and the "alternative photo challenge". Plus plenty of partying, of course. The weather was fine, the location was perfect and the pictures were creative and stunning.
As for who won what, we won't keep you waiting any longer. The crew of Florian Model, Arne Klaas and Christopher Schwartz from Germany won the final mission "contrasts" at the snowboarders. The freeski category saw the team of Dominik Steindl, Thomas Pichler and Benedikt Neyer from Austria take first place in the winter's coolest photo competition. Congratulations to them all.
The six crews who had won the winter's three online missions (on the official Snowpark Rally website) came together for the big final in Leogang. The First night saw them releaxing on the "Milinghof" estate, checking out the locations with pro snappers Loren Holder and Alex Papis, pro snowboarders Michi Stanschitz and Michi Schatz as well as Völkl freeski pros Thomas Hlawitschka, Caja Schöpf, Flo Wieser and Rene Schwabl.
It was so tough for the judges to choose a winner due to the quality of the photos, but you can have a look at the winning entries, along with the judges' comments, over on the Burn Facebook. You can also see the snowboarding video highlights at the very top of this page and the freesking just below!
